Herreshoff H-28 ketch





Nathaniel Herreshoff designed H-28 ketch.  Built in 1962 at the Cheoy Lee Shipyards, Kowloon, Hong Kong, also called Burmuda 30.
A well found boat with classic lines.  Beautiful bright-work, well maintained deck and topside paint.  A joy to sail.  Strong in any weather, and a pleasure on the bay.
Construction: 3/4" teak planking on white oak frames, copper rivet fastening construction is in good condition throughout, S/S standing rigging, Dacron lines, 1 full set of sails (jib, main, mizzen) in good condition, 1 extra set of sails included, all rigging in good condition.  Two anchors, 1 picnic, 1 bow with windlass.  Inboard engine removed, shaft still aboard, 10hp long shaft Nissan four stroke kicker (moves boat easily). New AC and DC (built in charger) electrical throughout.  Nav/Com: depth sounder, compass, vhf, radar, stereo.  Regularly serviced at Spaulding Boat Yard.
