1931 Fellows and Stewart Cabin Cruiser

38 foot  wooden cabin cruiser built in 1931 Beam at widest  is 9'6"
Lovingly maintained . Last haul out September 2013, Last survey 2011.
Same owner for 13 years. Lots of Smith epoxy !
Interior has much period charm and modern convenience-- it has been my home for past 2 years--
prior a fun project and part time home.
I need to let go of my home by end of March 2015 the latest-- while I would love some cash for her,
( as you can imagine I have invested a lot in her!),
I would be willing to let her go for free for a good home/owner.
Port Orford cedar hull, white oak ribs, Mahogany cabin

Restoration was not completed, but here is short list of how far we got:
sistering of ribs from aft to midship
new prop, new shaft. restoration of stuffing box
transom rebuilt from bottom to 2 feet above waterline
engine hold treated with epoxy and painted with epoxy paint
Aft cockpit roof replaced 2012
rebuilt diesel engine ( near hooked up-- but rebuilt and running from reputable marine mechanic Tom List of Sausalito)
rebuilt V-Drive transmission
New front hatch made with mahogany wood
New hot water heater
New Mahogany galley/sink area ( so pretty and practical)
Foam and new settee/queen bed in main cabin in last 5 years.
V Berth is lined with cedar and has a redwood frame suitable for bedding
Sanding of cabin to bare wood, coated in Smith 2 part wood epoxy, and varnished regularly.
Paint on top sides every 1 to 2 years.
Planks replaced as needed (there are 2 spots that need a plank now, but I have pulled away bad wood, treated surrounding
area with Smith ,and sealed up hull).
Bottom painted and inspected every 2 to years. Seams treated/filled as needed.
Bilge pumps ( one forward and one aft)  are 3 years old and in good working order.

There is so much unique qualities to this special boat -- giant windows that lift up and hook on brass hooks,
original leaded glass cabinet. Interior is all original mahogany hand crafted in a cool shape-- headroom in main cabin is 6'4".
-- just want this piece of history to survive--
